Event Notes
India, 1947. Three Muslim women have been abducted by three Hindu women, and all are trapped inside a transport truck as it speeds through a newly divided India. The line between victim and perpetrator blurs in this astonishing real-time political drama.
Trident Moon is an extraordinary story of everyday people caught in the crossfire.
Trident Moon was commissioned by Nightwood Theatre and premiered at the Finborough Theatre in London, UK, on the eve of the 70th anniversary of the Partition of India.
